I WON!

Well, that's what I hope to say in a few days! I created this page

for a sketch challenge at the Silhouette blog. I used my Silhouette SD to cut the number 6 from the font Segoe Script, 6 stars from the Silhouette library, and the yellow tag hanging from the twine is from the library. The paper is all Close to my Heart, and the twine is from We R Memory Keepers. Overall I'm pretty proud of it! Do I have to share that the tag is covering a "K" that my six-year-old wrote? He wanted to write his name on the layout. Do we have a future scrapbooker?

I'm an Outlaw!

Well, at least at The Outlawz! There is a lot to check out there, so after you see the beautiful card I made (look, it is beautiful, isn't it?) go browse.
So I am a member of a challenge group that is for "simple" cards. I hate to use the word simple because I don't want you to think they are blah. But I guess the best way to say it is that the DESIGN is simple so the focus can be on the sentiment. Anyway, this week's challenge was to use at least 4 items on your card while still keeping the design simple. Here is mine:

My 4 items used are all from Close to my Heart: patterned paper, ink, ribbon, and bling! I have to say I'm rather proud of it. What do you think?
